Rev. Dr. Kimberly Mason

A chosen woman of God who believes her character is best described by Isaiah 61:1  

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;   

Born in Ft. Campbell, KY, she received her Diploma of Ministry from the Chesapeake Bible College and Seminary while also completing the requirements to receive her Paralegal Degree from the University of Maryland University College.    

Rev. Mason was licensed to preach on April 26, 2003 and ordained on October 21, 2005 at the Second Baptist Church in Annapolis, Maryland. Currently she serves as an Associate Minister at Beulah Missionary Baptist Church, Decatur, GA under Rev. Jerry D. Black. 

Rev. Mason loves the Word of God and enjoys seeing lives changed because of the preached word.  She currently resides in Hampton, Georgia and is the proud parent to one daughter named Kaelynne. But most of all and best of all she is a lover and worshipper of Jesus Christ and an advocate for everything He stands for. 

Dr.  Mason has worked in the Legal Field for over 20 years and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Legal Studies from the University of Maryland University College. She will obtain her Master of Law degree in Non-Profit Management in the Summer of 2018. Rev. Mason uses her experience and education to assist other Ministers, non-profits, Musicians and artist to organize their ministries “decently and in order”.

Rev. Mason has served in the areas of Christian Education, Youth Ministry and Women's Ministry.  She has been honored to have been chosen to be guest speaker or facilitator for several Women's Conferences and Retreats in the Atlanta, Kentucky, Maryland, DC, North Carolina, and Virginia areas.

 A STEP UP is the Missions umbrella of Kimberly Mason Ministries, and was birthed out of the concept that our God has a plan, a perfect plan for each and every one of his people, plans to prosper and not to harm, plans of hope and a future.    She believes that as Disciples of Christ it is our mission to help God's people to recognize and step forward into those God given plans through ministry sponsored Educational Opportunities, Workshops and Scholarships.
